"I want you for the U.S. army" is one of the most famous propaganda poster in the history of the U.S. It was created in 1917 by James Montgomery Flagg on the model of a famous recruiting British poster of 1914. It shows Uncle Sam pointing his forefinger towards the viewer, enjoining him to enlist in the American army. Four million posters were printed. It was then used all along the Second World War.
